THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

What you can do.

/01

Notice aging orders

Set how many hours an order can remain unfulfilled before it needs attention. Canceled orders are excluded from this check.

/02

Find missing tracking

Check fulfilled orders for tracking information after a configurable grace period. Give your fulfillment process time to finish before raising an alert.

/03

Make room for exceptions

Exclude order tags, associated product IDs, or fulfillment services. Keep known preorders or special handling out of a rule when the relevant exception applies.

/04

Jump to the source

Open the affected order in Shopify Admin from the alert, then keep notes and ownership in Store Lookout.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

A useful part of
your routine.

Start with the settings that matter to your store, and keep the next step visible.

  1. 01

    Set your promise

Choose an order-age threshold and tracking grace period that fit your actual fulfillment process.

  2. 02

    Route the exception

Send order alerts to the people handling fulfillment through your chosen destinations.

  3. 03

    Close the loop

Review the order in Shopify. Store Lookout can resolve the incident when later checks show the condition has cleared.
